Tableau :Creating Tree Maps | | Fundamentals

  Please download the dataset   Click for dataset You’re looking at your organization’s sales data, and you want to see the relative contribution of each product category and region to your total sales. To determine this, you’ll build a tree map. Good luck! Build a tree map showing Sales of each Category in each Region . From the Data pane: Drag Sales to Size on the Marks card. Drag Region to Color on the Marks card.  Drag Category to Detail on the Marks card.  If a tree map is not displayed, change the mark type to Automatic or Square .  Label your tree map with Sales , Category , and Region . From the Data pane: Drag Category to Label on the Marks card.  Drag Sales to Label on the Marks card. Drag Region to Label on the Marks card. Great work! You’ve built a tree map to compare the relative contribution of Regions and Categories for each Region to Sales .

  Please download the dataset   Click for dataset You have sales data that you want to present using two pie charts, one showing sales by customer segment and one showing sales by region. Use two different methods to create your charts. Good luck! Create a pie chart that shows the four customer segments, and set it to fit the entire view. Build a highlight table that shows specific profit values in your data set, so that the patterns and extreme highs and lows in the data are easy to spot, helping your team make actionable business decisions about the company’s products.
